GRIPMAX^® is a fast-response combined drug to be used in the treatment of influenza and colds, and associated fever symptoms. It relieves nasal congestion and helps to loosen phlegm.

GRIPMAX^® contains three ingredients to combat symptoms of cold and influenza. Paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic. It relieves headache, joint and muscle pains (arthralgia and malign), as well as sore throat. Pseudoephedrine reduces nasal congestion. It clears up the sinuses. Dextromethorphan neutralizes the dry cough from throat and bronchial irritation.

Recommended Intake: 

Two capsules every 4 hours as needed, not to exceed 8 capsules in 24 hours.
 Drink a full glass of water either with or after taking the medicine.


Formulated For:
Adults and children over 12 years of age.

Contraindications:
Sensitivity to any of the ingredients or the combination. This product should not be used by women during pregnancy and lactation unless the potential benefits outweigh the unknown potential risks to the fetus.

Relative Contraindications:
alcoholism, anaemia, asthma, bone marrow suppression, bladder obstruction, breast feeding, cardiac disease, cardiac arrhythmias, close angle glaucoma, contact lenses, COPD, diabetes mellitus, driving or operating machinery, elderly, emphysema, ischemic heart disease, hypertension, G6PD deficiency, glaucoma, hepatic disease, hepatitis, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, immunosuppression, neutropenia, peripheral vascular disease, pregnancy, prostatic hypertrophy, renal disease, renal impairment, salicylate hypersensitivity, urinary retention.

Warnings:
GRIPMAX^®contains acetaminophen and pseudoephedrine. Before you begin taking any new prescription or nonprescription medicine, read the ingredients to see if it also contains acetaminophen or pseudoephedrine. If it does or if you are uncertain, contact your doctor or pharmacist. GRIPMAX^® may cause liver damage. If you consume 3 or more alcohol-containing drinks every day, ask your doctor if you should take GRIPMAX^®or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Alcohol use combined with GRIPMAX^®may increase your risk for liver damage. As with any medication, if you are taking another medication, consult your doctor before use. This product is not to be used by children under 6 years of age. Keep out of sight and reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison control center immediately.
