VITRUM®
OSTEOMAG
Here is a powerful vitamin-mineral
supplement, including a unique composition of D3 vitamin,
calcium (from oyster shells), magnesium, zinc, manganese,
copper and boron. The formula is for treating vitamin and
mineral deficiency of the elderly and of women during pregnancy
and lactation, as well as during/after menopause. This is
especially effective against hard-to-treat complications from
osteoporosis (menopausal, senile, steroidal, and idiopathic).
Recommended in some cases for use in multimodal therapy of
osteoporosis and osteopathy with anti-osteoporosis drugs.
Pharmaceutical
Form
Tablet.
Pink-colored film coated oval shaped tablet with beveled edge;
with "VITRUM" embossed on one side and "OSTEOMAG"
on the other side.
NOTICE: Contact with moisture may produce surface
discoloration or erosion of the tablet.

Vitamins and minerals are chemical substances that are vital
to the maintenance of normal body functions. Most people obtain
enough vitamins and minerals in their diet, but some people
have vitamin deficiencies. Serious nutritional deficiencies
lead to diseases such as pellagra and beriberi, which must
be treated by a physician. People who have an inadequate or
restricted diet, people who have certain disorders or debilitating
illnesses, and women who are pregnant or breast-feeding are
among those who may benefit from taking supplemental vitamins
and minerals. Supplements are also useful to people with special
conditions, including the elderly, shut-ins, alcohol users,
smokers and those on very restricted diets, who tend to be
poorly nourished or have high cholesterol levels.
Therapeutic
Indications
Adult Dietary Supplement. Can be taken by children 12 years
and older as directed.
Contradictions
The use of tobacco and alcohol decrease absorption of vitamins
and minerals. There are no specific warnings or toxic symptoms
when taken as directed.
Warnings
Close tightly. Keep this product out of sight and reach of
children. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or
poison control center immediately.
Special
Warnings
There are no special warnings to be observed when taking this
multivitamin and multimineral formula as described.
Recommended Intake
Take one (1) tablet daily with meal for adults and children
over 12 years old.
Expiration Date
Manufacturing and expiration date appears on the label and
box. After the expiration date some of the products ingredients
may diminish in strength.
How Supplied
Bottles of 60 tablets: NDC 362900-2725-06, and bottles of
30 tablets: NDC 362900-2725-03. Bottles are closed with caps
with tamper-evident seal. A full body-clear seal is used.
Storage Condition
Store this product in its original packaging for 3 years.
Do not expose to temperatures above 30oC (86oF).
